Developed by Shure with Rycote, the A89MW-KIT Windshield Kit is the broadcast and media production professionals’ choice when maximum isolation from wind and handling noise is required. Works with VP89M End-Address Shotgun Condenser Microphones. Kit includes suspension, windshield, and windjammer.

Suspension provides up to 25 dB of isolation against handling noise and cable-borne noises by supporting the microphone in a cradle arrangement using Lyre suspension webs.

Windshield basket completely surrounds the microphone and its connector, sliding onto the suspension. High-quality synthetic fur windjammer is designed to fit perfectly over the windshield and features a drawstring and toggle for a snug fit. Windshield and windjammer attenuate up to 38 dB of wind noise.
